Applications are invited for various teaching posts under the Northeast Frontier Railway

Northeast Frontier Railway invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Teachers in Railway HS School Maligaon and Netaji Vidyapith Railway HS School Maligaon.

Name of post: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

Number of posts: 3

Subjects: History, political science, commerce

Salary: Rs. NOK 27,500 per month

Eligibility:

(A) Two years integrated postgraduate M.Sc. Course for Regional College of Education for NCERT in the relevant subject;

Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks combined in the following subjects:

(i) PGT (History) – History

(ii) PGT (Political Science) – Political Science

(iii) PGT (Commerce) – Master’s Degree in Commerce. Must have good accounting knowledge,
Business studies and banking/finance

However, degree holders of M. Com in Applied/Business Economics are not eligible.

(B) B. Ed or equivalent degree from recognized University

(D) Knowledge of computer applications desirable

Name of position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

Number of posts: 2

Subjects: PTI, Hindi

Salary: Rs. NOK 26,250 per month

Eligibility:

(a) Graduation (in teaching subject) and 2-year diploma in primary education {by whatever name it is known)

At least 50% marks either in Graduation (in the teaching subject) or in Post-Graduation (in the teaching subject) and B.Ed.

Examination (in the teaching subject) with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% grades and 4-year bachelor in primary education (B.El.Ed.)

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year BA/B.Sc.Ed orb BAEd./B.Sc.Ed.

Graduation (in the teaching subject) with a minimum 50% grade and 1-year B.Ed. (Special education)

Further education (in the teaching subject) with a minimum 55% grade or an equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

AND

(b) Pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines prepared by the NCTE for the purpose. Provided that the minimum percentage of grades at the exam shall not apply to those established who had already taken admission to Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent courses before 1 August 2022

Qualified Graduate Teacher (Physical Education/PTI): Graduate with Bachelors in Physical Education (BP Ed) or equivalent.

Selection procedure : A walk-in interview will be held on 10 December 2022 at 10.00 AM in General Manager (P), Head Office Office, NF Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati-11

Age limit : The candidate should be between 18 to 65 years (as per KVS rules) on the date of interview and the selected candidate should not be eligible to continue his contract services beyond 65 years.
