IIM Calcutta Arthur D. Winner of the 3rd edition of Little’s Innovation Challenge – India Education | Latest Education News | Global Education News | So Good News


New Delhi: Arthur D. Little (ADL), has announced the winners of the 3rd edition of the Arthur D. Little Innovation Challenge 2022 with over 1800 students from India’s leading B-schools namely IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Kolkata. , IIM Lucknow and Indian School of Business (ISB). The 30 national finalists of the 2022 edition presented their innovative concepts to a panel of ADL India leaders at the national finals held on October 30, 2022 in the National Capital Region/Delhi. The theme of this year’s challenge was ‘Corporate India 2050 – Building the Next Challenger’.

Shivam Chandak, Avichal Agrawal and Pragya Malik from IIM Calcutta (Team Innovation Geeks) won for reimagining the automotive industry, while Team Transcendence from IIM Bangalore won first place for their creative presentation in retail and commerce. Team Invincibles from IIM Bangalore was declared runner-up for its innovative ideas in the cement industry.

At the announcement of the national winners, Artur D. Barnik Chitran Maitra, Managing Partner, India and South Asia, Little, said, “The ADL Innovation Challenge aims to spark the inquisitive minds of India’s future business leaders. The innovative ideas presented today will define Corporate India for decades to come. The brilliant business concepts highlighted in this year’s edition are a testament to India’s growing economic powerhouse and epicenter of global innovation.”

ADL Innovation Challenge is India’s largest consulting case competition, first held in 2020. The previous two editions were huge successes with over 2,500 eclectic minds from India’s top business schools in attendance. The National Challenge provides a platform for students from IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, IIML and ISB to reimagine the contours of Indian business. The competition this year involved multiple rounds of problem solving, analysis and final presentations to ADL India management. For 2 months, students interacted with ADL consultants to further refine their ideas. Winners were awarded a cash prize of ₹ 5,00,000, first runner-up ₹ 3,00,000 and runner-up ₹ 2,00,000, along with a pre-placement interview offered to all 30 national finalists.
