Indian Railways to Rebuild Secunderabad Junction Station, Shares Glimpses of MODERN Design | Railway news | So Good News

Indian Railways is working to modernize railway stations across India. To achieve this goal, the organization is re-developing several stations covering several railway zones. In the same vein, the Ministry of Railways shared the proposed layout of the updated Secunderabad Junction Railway Station. The station will be developed with more modern facilities to provide better facilities to the passengers. Moreover, the glimpse shows the proposed design of the surrounding areas as well.

The pictures of Secunderabad Junction Railway Station were shared by the official Twitter handle of the Ministry of Railways with the caption “Hallmark of Transformation: Take a look at the proposed design of Secunderabad Junction Railway Station to be redeveloped.” The same pictures of the railway station were also shared by Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region G Kishan Reddy. Appreciating the proposed design in his tweet, the minister said, “Telangana to get one of the most advanced state-of-the-art railway station in Secunderabad.”

The images show an airport-like design for the station. Also, based on the images, the areas around the station will have plenty of greenery to give the station a lively look. The images also show a larger car park for the vehicles arriving at the railway station.

The Ministry of Railways earlier shared a glimpse of several development projects like Udaipur Railway Station, Bengaluru Cantonment Railway Station and many others. Additionally, Indian Railways reported that 1,215 Adarsh ​​stations have been built to improve passenger amenities. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated on 5 August that the Ministry of Railways has developed various plans for the improvement and attractiveness of Indian Railways stations, including the Model, Modern and Adarsh ​​Station Scheme.
