Join Women in Business Innovation: Online Conference on Digital Entrepreneurship | So Good News

On November 28, the European Commission will hold an online conference dedicated to the development of women-led startups and innovative entrepreneurship.
Development of women’s innovative entrepreneurship in Eastern Partnership countries is one of the priorities of the EU4Digital program of the European Union.
During the online event, EU best practices in supporting women’s entrepreneurship and involving women in the digital sector will be presented. They will discuss options for support and assistance to accelerate the development of women’s entrepreneurship, potential areas of cooperation, ways to integrate businesswomen from Eastern Partnership countries into EU business communities.
“It is difficult to overestimate the role of women in wartime – they fight at the front on an equal footing with men, work, contribute to the army, engage in business, raise children. But in the years after the war, we are indebted to women for the restoration of the national economy. Women entrepreneurs will be the driving force of the reconstruction of the country as a whole. Today, women in Ukraine are ready to become the best entrepreneurs and leading leaders. What is required from the society and the state is to support them financially, physically and psychologically, this is what we can do with Diia.Business, Diia.Digital education, IT-generation, etc. projects” Valeria Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for European Integration, stated this.
The event will benefit the following:
- national IT communities, small and medium-sized business networks focused on digital markets;
- non-governmental and national/local initiatives promoting women’s entrepreneurship and innovation;
- startups and innovative companies led by women.

- Women’s Tech
- Women are business angels
- WINGATE initiative
- Female founders
