NF Railway observes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas | MorungExpress | So Good News

Maligaon, October 31 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) at Maligaon, NFR Hq on 31st October. All the five divisions of NF Railway also observed the day.

At Maligaon, a swearing in ceremony was presided over by Anshul Gupta, General Manager, NFR. He lit the lamp and paid floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and pledged to all present. He was accompanied by senior railway officials of NFR along with ex-Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court, Dhiresh Narayan Chowdhury as Chief Guest.

The General Manager also flagged off a “Run for Unity” from the NFRSA stadium and finished in the NFR Hq premises. Railway personnel, officers and their families, sportspersons, RPF and volunteers from Scouts and Guides participated in the “Run for Unity”.
