(“Cedarlane”). With decades of packaged goods manufacturing experience, Cedarlane is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of healthy, innovative frozen and fresh food products. Planet Based Foods is looking forward to working with them as it will create many synergistic opportunities in the near and long term.

The new production will strengthen the diversity of Planet Based Foods products both horizontally and vertically. From burritos and taquitos; handle to easy-to-make healthy food choices; and verticals with options to expand the flavor profiles of individual food products. Taquito production capacity will increase to 25 million taquitos annually. A packaging system for retail and food service products allows products to get to market in a timely manner.

In addition, Executive Chef Eric KopelowCedarlane’s vice president is creating exclusive recipes for research and development using Planet Based Foods. It provides access to Planet Based Foods’ top chef team as well as local and global resources for recipe development. These recipes can be found on the Planet Based Foods website and will help improve the overall consumer experience.
