Purolator Announces Shipping Agreement with Best Buy. | So Good News

Toronto – On November 25, Purolator announced a nationwide partnership with Best Buy as part of Purolator’s plan to serve its customers for the 2022 holiday season. The company is expanding its workforce and adding new agent partners to bring more locations closer to customers. It expanded its fleet and rolled out digital tools to deliver and track packages faster.

“We continue to invest in our network and customer experience to ensure we are ready to deliver exceptional services tailored to businesses and consumers alike for the holidays,” said Purolator President and CEO John Ferguson. “We expect to process nearly 48 million packages during this year’s busiest season and are ready to do more. With this Best Buy partnership, We will now have over 2,000 delivery locations across the country.”

Purolator customers can now pick up and order packages at 101 Best Buy stores across Canada.

All Purolator shipping locations, including Best Buy stores, can be found using Purolator’s locator on purolator.com and its mobile app.

This year’s Purolator:

  • It hired 1,200 new employees across the country to work harder to deliver packages.
  • It expanded its fleet by nearly 10 percent to meet market demand.
  • It has upgraded its Purolator Your Way web app to track packages and customize e-commerce delivery. Users can subscribe at purolator.com/subscribe-to-pyw.
  • Added and improved ship access points:
      • Additional agent partners include Best Buy (101 locations) as well as Swiftpost (55 locations by 2022).
      • Quick Stop Kiosks for 24/7 contactless services; Fast parcel pick-up lockers and Purolator drop boxes increase package drop-off and pick-up locations by 30 percent in high-traffic areas.
      • Simple returns with label free services. Customers can get their return label printed with a QR code at over 1,000 retail locations.
      • Set up Mobile Quick Stop trucks outside its high-traffic terminals.
      • Expanded condo parcel locker program to provide convenient packages for residents at any time of day or night at 235 lockers in busy urban areas.
