Member of PSC Board, Ministry of Railways and former Deputy Commissioner of Minorities Commission, Jharkhand, Gurvinder Singh Sethi has written a book on the life of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj titled Guru Nanak Jeevan Aur Sandesh. Sethi on his visit to the steel city released the book at Sakchi Gurudwara.

Addressing the media, he said that National Minorities Commission Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura had recently released the book in a program in New Delhi. The book is published by the Ministry of Information Publication, Government of India. The idea is to spread the message of Guru Nanak across the globe. He said that he will get this book published in other regional languages ​​as well.

He went on to inform that he feels proud to publish a book on the life of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj on the occasion of his 553. Prakash Parv. It took two years to complete the book. During Covid-19, Sethi got the idea to write the book.

“Guru Nanak Dev Ji is a true example for the right to equality, he played an important role in eradicating discrimination from the society,” he said. Moreover, he believed in the equality of mankind.

The author of the book, Sethi said that through this book he tried to convey the entire life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj to the people in simple words. He said that the many aspects of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life are included in the book.

On this occasion, Secretary of Patna Sahib Gurudwara Inderjeet Singh, Sakchi Gurudwara President Nishan Singh, Chanchal Bhatia, Satbir Singh Somu, Satinder Singh Banty and Jagtar Singh Nagi were present.
