Sahiti Varshini Reti-Farkas Chaladi Boraszati won the Blitzverse Blitz Chess Championship
Hyderabad: M. Sahiti Varshini won the Reti-Farkas Chaladi Boraszati Blitzversny Blitz Chess Championship in Budapest, Hungary by seven points after nine rounds, her father, coach Lokeshwara Rao said.
Sahiti cheated the three general directors Aveskulov Valery and Neverov Valery, Ukrainian and Hungarian Chebe Attila.

Parvei broke Gamanda’s 20-year-old national record
Bilaspur: Madhya Pradesh’s Parvej Khan broke Gamanda Ram’s 20-year-old Indian record by bettering his 800m personal best by more than three seconds at the Under-23 National Open Athletics Championships in Bilaspur on Monday.
The 17-year-old Services runner, who is also the reigning National Open 1500m champion, clocked 1:47.96 seconds (the previous U-20 record was 1:48.37 seconds) to make it a double victory. He completed a golden double in the 1500m on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh’s 19-year-old Animesh Kujur (200m) and Maharashtra’s Dhavel Uttekar, who moved from the high jump to the 400m hurdles, set personal bests.
