The maximum age limit for applying for the position is 50 years. The monthly remuneration for the position of specialist surgeon is up to Rs. 95,000.

Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can appear for the walk-in interview along with the duly filled application form. The walk-in interview will be held 29 November 2022 at the Chief Medical Superintendent, Division Railway Hospital, Northern Railway from 11 am onwards. Post Name- General practitioners/specialists.

Age- Not above 50 years as on 1st December 2022, 05 years age relaxation for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC).

Not exceeding 65 years for retired IRMS Officers/Retried Govt. State Medical Officers.

time period- The engagement is purely contractual for 01 year. Furthermore, the service of these doctors can also be terminated before the end of the contract period. The service provided as an appointment doctor is a one-stop arrangement.

Vacancies and post details

Eligibility for Northern Railway Recruitment 2022:

For general practitioners- MBBD from a recognized university and must have completed a rotating internship for one year and should be in possession of a valid registration certificate from any of the state medical councils.

For specialists- MBBS, MS/DNB (General Surgery) from a recognized university and post qualification experience of 3 years.
